Measuring English Language Education Department Students’ Speaking Fluency Level

This research aimed at investigating English Language Education department students’ speaking fluency level. The subjects were twelve third-semester students of Department the University Muhammadiyah Malang. Mixed method was used in this research. data collected form audio transcription. Three standards used, namely speech rate, pause and disfluent syllable. result showed that all obtained syllable, with a score below 30 disfluencies per minute. majority low level terms rate rate. average 162 syllables minute above 1 second. In conclusion, two achieved 3 (good) ten other 2 (intermediate). Key Word: language education students, level,
